Hello and welcome to Kate Smith Elementary!

My name is Jenn Hodges, and I am incredibly proud to serve as the principal of this amazing school. With over 20 years in education, my journey has taken me through a variety of roles—including speech-language pathologist, assistive technology specialist, Dean of Students, special education administrator, and assistant principal. Each of these experiences has deepened my belief in the power of connection, high expectations, and creating a learning environment where every child feels seen, supported, and challenged.

At Kate Smith, we are Celebrating a Century of Learning—and I truly believe our best years are still ahead. Our staff is dedicated to helping every student succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in making learning meaningful, engaging, and fun!
