Dear Families,
Welcome to the KSES Counselor Corner! My name is Lauren Frydman, and I am your student’s school counselor. A school counselor is certified/licensed educator who works to improve student success for ALL students by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program.
The mission of Kate Smith ES school counseling program is to assist all students to reach their full potential, through academic, career and social/emotional development. The school counseling program provides developmentally appropriate activities including individual and small group counseling and classroom guidance lessons that result in students becoming independent, responsible members of society and successful lifelong learners.
